Yet again we start to approach a new season completely underwhelmed by our activity (sic) in the transfer market. We're a PR disaster on a regular basis and the "Ahhh but we only do our dealings in secret" dangled carrot is usually a prequel to us buying some fat bloke on a freebie. No-one wants to see a return to Publicity Pete's madness, but some good news (Whilst you are trying to sell season tickets!) wouldn't go amiss!
