An interesting observation, Ted but apparently a more common one with the rise last May of support for the SNP. Having said that singing God save the Queen did make the Leeds fans look a bit stupid when most scots love her to death.
After more than two decades here. I rarely come across anti Englishness amongst people who get out a bit. The sentiment seems to be more embedded amongst folk who think Blackpool is a good holiday destination :-)
I think you are right about the attendance figures though. We picked up our tickets on Friday and the club was clearly enjoying its sales to the Sassunachean ...kerching!
