in the past I d recommend jailbreak however I went to that webssite
and my phone we jailbroken, easy as. never been this easy.
maybe TOO easy.

however now itunes wont recognize it and I cant upload anything on my
phone. I ve tried to restore it, but given that USB seems
to be shagged its not happening. basically, I ve put myself in a
complex situation and I ll have to go online and ask for help now.

So jailbreak at your own risk.
