If they are to be better than what we have, they need to come form premiership clubs. And premiership players will only become available once the 25-man prem squads have been selected. As this doesn't have to be until the end of the transfer window, expect a lot of deadline deals. That's the reality, unless you've got sugardaddy squillions to splash (like Leicester, Ipswich etc).
