Looks like Royal Artillery to me.

Subject: [LU] NON LU From John Sykes

Hey lads, would there be a chance of offering me advice as to where I can
have some identify my uncle's regiment from WW2. Vincent Tritschler, from
Newcastle, was killed just as the war began. He was my mother's
brother....and with Mom long gone, I can't find anyone to help, with me
being in Canada, its that more difficult.

I'd like to find his regiment so I can offer the authorities something to go
on. I'm putting a picture of him on here to see if any of you can do the
trick.

Many thanks,

Grampa Sykes
