Subject: [LU] List meet (was who could this be now?)

I'd be up for it DRB, albeit I don't think I'm in any shape to construct a team
of 11 empty Grolsch bottles these days - maybe a midfield 3. And will I still
have to eat the 'lucky' M&S pie?

da Rev (old skool)

Colin's a stalwart lister of old.  So NON LU is not required.

BTW, speaking of listers of old, as Betty mentioned in his earlier email, we
should definitely arrange an old school list meet some time this season.  I
know I've been speaking about such a gathering off list and at matches for a
while, and would definitely like to meet up with Gav, Voicey, Betty, Maggie, Da
Rev, Oystein et al, to name but a few.

For those listers who joined after 2000, you might not know that this list
wasn't just a virtual gathering of Leeds fans, regular face to face interaction
occurred, before games, at games, after games, home and away.  There would
often be 15 or more listers having a drink together in the Adelphi/Britannia/an
away pub before the match.  How nice would it be to meet up again, and to meet
up with lots of newer listers who haven't met?

What about last home game of the season?    Or if we get to the play-off, the
home play-off leg, for a old school/new school list meet?

DRB

Surely doing it on a match day is only asking for trouble i.e. depressing!!
