Unless something has changed, that branch of London Overground stops at Clapham Junction. You can go direct from Clapham Jct to Selhurst though, on Southern -IF you can negotiate Clapham Jct Station ! The ever-popular "park at Cockfosters or Southgate" is not a bad idea. You need to change from the Piccadilly to Victoria at Finsbury Park but then it's only one stop to Highbury & Islington from where London Overground DOES go direct to Norwood Junction. This (KX to H&I) is also an alternative to going from Kings Cross to London Bridge and then by Southern.
