It was a rhetorical question, I am not rewriting history, I know for a fact that I defend the selection of players against your or our perceptions of their basic ability, because professional football managers know if someone is a pub player or not. The selection of Johnson did not indicate professional managers/coaches couldn't spot a pub player, it indicates you have a very limited understanding of professional football. Ditto Becchio.
Sure, if you call half the team shit, not good enough, pub players etc, there will be instances where those players drop out the team and then out of the game or onto lower league teams. But there are also instances where players go to a better club. Or indeed vice versa - you seemed to think Kilkenny was the second coming. Just paste us a bit of text from one of your past postings when you pointed all this out ? I won't wait for it. Anyway, back to the real issue - Grayson's team selections. I know he's not had good financial backing but surely he can't start with Brown, Pugh and Becchio and expect us to pick up results ? Losing patience. _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] PETE CASS (1962 - 2011) Rest In Peace Mate
