The problem I have is that nothing right now looks like team/squad building. We 
seem to be selling our best players (for a profit) and getting in free players 
who were clearly not good enough where they came from. 

Who does our scouting? Why are we not signing some exciting youngsters from 
lower leagues and giving them a chance to prove themselves? Has the club 
concluded that this does not work?

I don't want has-been loanees. I want exciting (maybe unpredictable) talent.
