I was right behind the South Stand goal and Macca was able to score as the Ipswich keeper hesitated when coming out, which gave Macca just enough time to get to the ball first. If the keeper hadn't hesitated he'd have got there first. It pains me to say this, but I thought we were much livelier after Becchio came on. The atmosphere was very subdued. The biggest cheer in the first half came when one wild speculative shot from Ipswich ended up on the back row of the South Stand. We did laugh. I can only concur with the rest of the posters to this list that Saturday's performance was an absolute bag of shite. I can't believe that we can play that badly, win, and be one point off the playoffs. Is this league really that shit? I took my brothers to the match on Saturday as Christmas presents.
