I struggle to see a logic in that statement. Is it the clubs that chose who enter the league based on who they fancy etc? or would it be the FA? I dont see why english clubs should have a say in this IF it was to happen. A club plays in a league and teams come up and down every year.. thats it really, so why should the clubs have a say? Having said this I dont think Rangers and Celtic would even dream of leaving their own league. It would be treason if Scotland became independent and the teams decided to leave. Imagine the fans go roger rabbit (mel gibson movie), or whatever his name was, on the clubs. nasty..
