Not strictly true - the £5m facility will 'part-fund' the development. IMHO it confirms that as suggested earlier this season our expenditure on players AND management was around 33% of turnover - note this is expenditure NOT just salaries. Bates claimed earlier this year that the player expenditure budget was £9m for this season. These figures would appear to suggest that Bates budgeted to spend less on player expenditure this season than was spent last season. The difference probably intended to part-fund the aforementioned development but that's just my cynicism.
