I have to say that I agree totally with Rich - his report was spot on.
This was awful, appalling and amatuerish. The paltry crowd of 21,000 (where are
the 10,000 who turned up v West Ham ?) were treated to as bad a performance as
any under Grayson. My worry is that the 'improvenet' under Colin has been the
normal new manager syndrome rather than any magic from Colin himself.
Pre match me and a mate were saying how we seem to be at the wrong end of 'once
in a lifetime goals' and goals from people who never score - 3 of Forests goals
were unbeliveablefinsihes and then there was Zilic (?) hat-trick for Birmingham
- over half his goals for the season. Today proved the point when the Watford
forward who has not scored for 22 games / 5months got 2 goals today!
To be honest we were lucky it was only 2 -0 ,a Watford forward missed such an
easy chance that he stood in front of the  Kop waving his arms around in self
disgust, then later on Lees fell over and it led to an almighty scramble that
we managed to keep out. The first  goals was very poor defending- , Robisnon
missed his tackle and teWatford lad ran though Bruce as if he was not there and
gave it on a plate to his partner. The second  looked like it was offside the
ball coming back from Lonergan to the striker who looked to be a yard offside
when the first shot came in but it did not really make a diference, apart from
one miss from Snoddy and one from Bruce we never troubled them at all.
Lees summed it up with a volley that was so poorly executed it looked like he
had never kicked a ball in his life!
We all know Rich's view of Becchio, an on this occasion he is 100% right.
Becchio was the weakest link in a weak team. It was obvious from very early on
that Becchio was getting nothing out of the Watford defenders (their whole team
looked big) and so he resorted to throwing himself on the floor at every
challenge but the ref was not buying it. A clever manager would have seem that
and introduced either Forselll, Webber or even Nunez earlier (hit them with
pace and trickery when the battering ram was not working) but Colin did nothing
to change the hoof it forward tactic - Webber did come on at half time but that
was for the injured White. I totally disagree with Richs assessment (some time
ago admittedly) that White could be the new Giggs, White is a liability , he
has pace and nothing else, he is too lightweight and lacks commitment and
involvement in games. If he does not sign his new offer it is no loss. Another
player who is running out of good will
is Clayton, On his day he can be our best player but too often (as yesterday)
he just seems to be going through the motions and is Mr Invisible.
So a very disappointing performance and in reality a disappointing end to our
season - I dread to think what crowds we will get for the remaining 'non
games'. Bates business plan of alienating Season Ticket holders and relying on
pay on the day fans will back fire big time now we have nothing to play for.
I said after Forest that the Colin Bubble had burst and yesterday just
confirmed it, despite our decent away form.

Dave
