My daughter and I share a birthday, and this year we bought each other the same present without knowing it! - a vinyl (cheap) turntable!!! This has led me to get out all my old records so here's a new thread - most embarrassing record bought and still owned, for me it'll be a toss up between Wheels of Steel by SAXON or the "Metal for Mutha's" NWOBHM compilation. On the plus side my first gig was Iron Maiden at the 100 club (or was it the Marquee - it was a long time ago.). the band I never saw but wish I had - Talking Heads, although I have seen David Byrne a few times and as he gets older he's mellowed and actually plays a few of the old tracks nowadays. Back on the TV theme - my recommendation for your next box set is 15 Storeys with Sean Lock - hilarious.
