Today pretty much summed up the season and showed why we are staying down. At times we were OK and at other times we were awful. We had a bright start with Snoddy and Becchio both coming close in the early stages, then came the best chance of the half for us, a ball over the top and Becchio was clean through . Then as if to prove Rich W correct he made a total hash of it, first he let the defender get back and get goal side of him, no problem as Becchio skinned him but then instead of putting it past Schmeical he just tamely chipped it into his hands , an awful piece of finishing. That seemed to take the steam and commitment out of us and it was no real surprise when they scored, Rich W again being proved right as Pugh was made to look a right mug as the Leics player went past him as if he wasn't there and his shot sent both Bruce and Lonergam the wrong way. The rest of the half and indeed the game petered out as both teams looked like they were already on their holidays. Then with 10mins or so on the clock we upped our game, Snoddy beat 2 players and his cross cum shot was bundled over the line from a yard out by an embarrassed looking Webber, This was enough to lift both the crowd and the team as we put a bit of effort in and only a bad miss by the terrible Forsell stopped us taking the points, Then more awful defending in the last seconds and a deflected shot trickled in and it was defeat number 11 a new record By far the highlight of the game was the crowds reaction to Beckford and his response to it - Leeds salute and kisses from him. At one point Bruce even offered Becks his Leeds shirt "he's Leeds and he knows he is" Nice one Jermaine and thanks for the memories
