So the season ends - sorry, that should be, so the most thoroughly depressing and uninspiring season finally drags to an end...been going since 1977 and I cannot remember once being grateful just to get the damn thing over and done with, before. I've been glad its finished before, because our form was teetering and we were looking queasy coming up to some finishing line or other, but at least that had excitement as well as nerves...this has just been woeful.
So, dead wood: O'Dea Brown Pugh Parker Robinson Connolly Forsell Nunez Becchio Kisnorbo Bromby Paynter (not had much of a chance, but not been overly impressed, although if it is a choice between him and the divine Lucciano, then keep Billy) Webber Keepers: (not goalkeepers, necessarily) Loneghan Taylor Lees Bruce White Snodgrass (not that I can see him staying) Clayton McCormack (and given instruction on staying on his feet) Thompson Somma - (hope to see him back in similar nick to when he got injured) Sam (plus hopefully some decent youth players) maybes: Rogers - after all who knows, really...
