Anyway, enough of this, I have been dwelling on your criticism of Becchio, and would love to delve into the list digests from the very early 90s (which would be Gav Burnage emailing himself back then?) and see what sort of stick Chapman got when not scoring. I remember a time when he got booed, when he hadn’t scored for about 3 games. Undoubtedly our worst player for many years (obviously that doesn’t include John Pearson). Seeing him on one-to-one with the goalie situations were always amusing. Not seen Becchio much, but his tendency to head the ball when others would kick it, and reports of his general crapness leads me to wonder whether with 10 great players around him, he’d be loved and adored for his goal tally like Chappy deservedly was.
