yeah, remember Cov well - we knew to get in the corners though, well away from behind the goals! Worst for me was Tottingham away in the FA Cup 6th Round - stuck against a barrier for about 30 mins - off work for 3 days - felt like my guts were gonna cave in. Then f***ing Garth fat face f*ck Crooks scored. Heavy afterwards too, but jeez, my guts after that!

Anyone remember how packed it was in there for the Coventry game? Or the crush at the turnstiles at St Andrews when barriers collapsed, fences buckled? The day that poor lad was killed when that wall fell on him. If the fence hadn't given way at those turnstiles to relieve the pressure that day, that would have been our Hillsborough. I'm used to being in surges and packed ends, but that was different. It became so packed outside those turnstiles my feet were off the floor, I couldn't raise my arms and had tunnel vision. I remember thinking "fuck, I'm going to die here". When I hear the Hillsborough survivors describing their experience, it always takes me back to that time in Birmingham, and how fucking lucky we probably were that day.
