Fair enough ... Game of opinions. It would be boring if we all agreed.

At least I give people the chance to say 'f&ck you Rich, you were wrong' or
'Rich you are right'

My final point on Beccio is that I believe there's more to the argument than
does he score goals / does he feign injury ? He is such a crucial, player to the
way we play. He has no pace, plays with his back to goal and that seriously
limits our attacking options. It also encourages the long ball but that means
we need a good target man , and he isn't. You only have to see that Kenny now
aims for Varney and more recently Byram as they are better equipped than
Becchio in the air.

I think with Diouf now playing in the hole we're looking for runners to get
beyond the last man - Byram, Poleon both have that capability but so should
your main striker but we've already seen what happens when he tries to do that.

So I think the whole team dynamic is affected by Becchio and for me that won't
get us promotion and it really fucks me off when I hear the counter argument to
Becchio's limitations - rich, we're a championship club with average
championship players who all have limitations, that to me is the same attitude
to the people who accept Ken Bates. 'He's stabilised our finances' That
argument doesn't wash with me I'm afraid. We are Leeds and we expect better
than Becchio.
