Korsten was fucking ace.

I remember coming away from one game raving about him - I think, irnoically
enough, it was Spuds - at home. The ball was cleared and it came near him, he
did some sort of sliding challenge, scooped the ball up, did a drag back with
the other foot, beat someone and lashed it into the net. Brilliant! (Sure it's
not actually like that)

I was so gutted he left for Spurs with GG then he got injured and never played.

For clarity, I wasn't saying Hiden and Bobby M were shite, quite the opposite.
Them and Halle were a decent defence. Big Bobby was my favourite player of that
era. Total class.

Which made Dipshit Pete's announcement that "we have moved on from the
Molenaar's and Wetherall's of this world" a disgrace.

Korsten - did I not rate him. I think I did actually and was upset when he
moved to Spurs.

Argh, Burns. He was terrible.

Bakke was ok until he injured his groin? - Although Rich had it in for
 him.

Jacob was out of his depth. I seem to remember DOL 'bought him for the
reserves' but we had a really bad run of injuries, so he played a few games.
Hay was another. That team away at barca got a pumping.

Duberry was also a Rich Bete Noire?

Some just sank without trace, Tommy Knarvik anyone? Hiden & Molenaar were
both undone by the OT turf?

Barca team.
Martyn, Kelly, Duberry, Radebe (Hay,
90), Mills, Bowyer, Dacourt, McPhail (Hackworth, 72), Harte, Bridges, Smith.
Subs: Robinson, Huckerby, Jones, Hay, Burns, Evans, Hackworth.
