For most games he played I could not question his committment and his massive
effort he put in to try and compensate for his lack of ability.

Fact is though, he was a poor footballer. He fell over and handballed more than
any footballer I have ever seen His general control was also the worse I've
ever had the misfortune to see. He was a massive constraint to all the managers
he has played for and there's no way we could have ever got back in the PL with
him.

I for one, am happy to see him go, his style of football (if you can call it
that) will not be missed and I think we are already a massively improved team
without him.

Good riddance - this guy is pinching a living in the PL.
