Good grief - haikus are 17 syllables, 3 lines - usually arranged 5-7-5
(although if Colin was in charge of that as well god knows what the
formation would be...the words wouldn't know if they were in a sonnet or
being iambic)...anyway, not 3 sentences...

we languish mid-table,
the argentine departed,
barn doors sleep easy
