When I was a kid I came home from a really drab game on the bus. There was a communal discussion which consisted of bringing in this one and dropping that one. Suddenly a morose tweed coated cloth capped enclosed gruff Yorkshire voice chimed in : "I'd bring in Pierpoint and drop t'bloody lot" Till this day I think that was one of the best cracks I've heard.
