I certainly haven’t gloated over her death. I disliked her intensely for
everything she did. I guess the economics texts books will judge her more
kindly than those who remember her.

I'm not going to mourn her nor will I criticise those who choose to have a
party or will I criticize those who will mourn her! I enjoyed it when she was
overthrown more. I had really forgotten about her until today!

Well you have now....

I neither voted for her (or more accurately, her party), nor did I agree with
her policies, but I cannot find it in me to rejoice at the death of another
human being. I am shocked and horrified at the vitriol aimed at this ex Prime
minister. Can no one remember some of the good things she did?

She made us proud to be British again
She stood up for what she believed in - something which I also greatly admire
Tony Benn for - and I didn't vote for him, his party or their policies either
She opened up the possibility for many women to become leaders in their own
fields She was the longest serving Prime Minister in the 20th Century

Love her or hate her, you could not ignore her. But come on guys we are all,
hopefully, adults here. If you didn't like her, fine I accept that, but cut out
this childish nonsense about partying over her grave, it demeans you and it
makes you seem very petty. A human being who lead our country once has died
today, if you didn't support then shut the fuck up and say nothing, or at worst
list what you didn't agree with in an adult fashion. And as for likening her to
Jimmy Saville... WTF???

I may not have agreed with her, but I refuse to revel in her death

Steve Gillen, who still has some dignity left I hope

I haven't heard a single northern person that I know who had anything but
loathing for her. North yorks.... Harrogate was once described as a little
piece of Surrey up north so expect different views there but it is as John says
widespread hate for a woman destroyed communities that have never recovered.
