The scratching shed site has a video of the goal and a good match report http://www.thescratchingshed.com/2013/04/blast-from-the-pass-leeds-united-1-0-burnley/?
I got this text from my mate this morning "Enjoyed last night, we tried to pass the ball from the first minute. Some players obviously more comfortable than others but at least McD will see who he needs to move on. For 20mins in the second half we were impressive . Need to finish teams off but that will come. Not getting carried away but very positive signs under the new boss" This pretty much echoes all the reports and comments I have read today. I think those of you who do not get to games would be surprised at how bad the atmosphere was under Warnock - the general lack of optimism - and how it has been lifted in just 2 games. The difference that McD has made really has been that dramatic. If we can keep this up till the end of the season we can start next season with real hope and belief and we can all look forward to going to the game rather than the chore that it has been this season. Even when we won 6 on the bounce at ER it never felt like Fortress Elland Road and neither the players nor the fans seemed to be enjoying it. Last night there were smiles all round even at half time when we had failed to score again, fans were happy and looking forward to the second half As for Rudys goal, to me it was Bowyeresque -Lee made a habit of ghosting in unseen and getting on the end of things. Also nice to see Somma get a run out at the end - lets hope he can make an impression in the last few games and get a new, pay as you play type, contract. I would hate to see him leave at the end of the season when he is out of contract (but don't want him taking up our wages if he is permanently injured) I really rated Somma. On another note, a mate of mine was telling me how he had been in Oracle nightclub on Saturday and Ross McCormack was there with Brown and another Leeds player (I forgot who) and that Titus Bramble was also there. Anyway he told me that Ross was so drunk that he ended up being escorted out by the bouncers at 3am and could barely stand. He then showed me photographic proof - a pic on his phone of his mate a very drunk and under the weather Ross Mc. The lad put it on twitter but within minutes was contacted by Ross with the request that 'he take the picture down, or you will get me in trouble with the boss" The lad did take it down immediately and got a 'thank you message from Ross' Not sure how Ross did in training on Sunday - I know McD had them in for training. (Do me a favour and do not spread this story around on waccoe etc) Dave _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] MARCHING ON TOGETHER
