Maybe the most significant point is this: those with their hand on the
steering wheel of this bus seem, for the first time in a long time, to actually
be hearing what we're saying. The message is "we hear you loud and clear"
rather than "F*ck off, I'm running this team and you're not."

Look, I take your point. There's a whiff of a bit of a hint of a high Bullshit
to Substance ratio in the recent announcements. Perhaps coupling it with a
signing would have been better PR.

But what do you want right now? High profile acquisitions that are
unsustainable? Been there. Done that. Still have a jersey with the
premiership patch on it. Its faded, though. Badly.

Not being facetious. Just what is there to get excited about?

I am not trying to convince someone. But I really do not understand.

I like the stuff on the OS about a big marketing campaign and Haighs quotes
about 'standing proud and shouting loud'

I like even more the little dig at Bates with the 'you can't change the past'
logo

It is about time they tried to get back in touch with the missing fans and to
give the impression (even if it is false) that the fans are in fact an
important part of the club and do matter to the owners etc

Another step in the right direction and another little push to those who are
wavering over coming back to ER either as ST holders or just going to the odd
game

Dave
