Meh... I've heard worse things (for Hull, not us).  I remember being really
oppositional about the changes to the names that they brought in in RL with
the advent of Super League, but I rather like supporting the Rhinos now.  I
do, however, have respect for those RL teams who chose to stick with their
original names e.g. Featherstone Rovers, and look down on teams who already
had this sort of name yet changed it e.g. Bradford Northern / Bulls.  

If this becomes a trend in Football, I can see it happening for the teams
who already have a suitable nickname, like Hull, which puts us in the clear
anyway.  At least they're going for "Hull City Tigers" and not just "Hull
Tigers", ditching the historic "City" name.

It is somewhat ironic though that Hull would be the first football team to
do this(?), when both of their RL teams took the 'no renaming' option!
