Not sure what to make of that performance. It was certainly a great comeback and an excellent result, but I am not sure that Ipsouits are any good at all. I watched also the earlier Bolton Qpr game and there seemed to be a lot more quality on show there. I suppose we shall find out next week.
We certainly8 were woeful for the first 20 mins. I am not convinced about the MFN diamond formation at the best of times (believing that it does not offer us enough of a defensive base) but at the start of this match it was appalling. Who was supposed to be on the rt? Austin, presumably, but he was totally absent for about 5 attacks in a row. I couldn't,t believe how long it took to sort it out. I liked the look of Murphy. Don,t know why Lees has suddenly turned into a lumbering dolt. Varney (great finish) and Hunt are utilitarian but possibly effective.
