I've neither been a Becchio fan-boy nor a Hater like Rich. But I can't see
that Becchio would really help us much at this point. We don't want to play
the type of game that suits him. Now Beckford…..

However, I would have liked to see Beckford back, I think that he really
could add something for us. Did anyone see how he did on Satdi?

Beckford was on the bench on Saturday. When he left the dugout to warm-up
he was greeted by the Leeds fans singing the Jan 3rd song, as well as
"you're Leeds, and you know you are..." and "Beckford, Beckford give us a
wave" - to which he duly did.

When he came on during the second half he got a greater reception from the
Leeds fans than he did from the Bolton fans. Quite bizarre. He also got
the same songs and he still waved whilst playing! If I was the Bolton
Management (or fans) I would not have been happy!

He played okay I thought - still had pace, had one shot off target I think.
Did plenty of movement off the ball. Whether it was because we liked him,
he still looked dangerous to me.

I'd be happy to have him back (on a free/loan) but don't think it would be
the right thing to do (never go back etc.)

Is Becchio in talks yet? ;-)
