Brenda & Cindy,

My sincere condolences for the loss of your Dad.

I knew John on the YORKSGEN (Genealogy) forum as well as on here, and his
passion for LUFC, Yorkshire & sports was clear for all to see. He was very
proud of his career as a sports broadcaster, and especially his Sports
broadcaster of the year award. I think his only regret there was that he
wasn't commentating on his beloved Leeds United.

When reviewing my email of the day, John's was one of the first I would
read as I knew there'd be something worth reading in it.

I could tell from his Google+ profile that you and your children meant a
lot to him; "Bragging rights - six marvelous grandkids & two wonderful
daughters".

He will be missed. RIP Grampa.

With heartfelt regards,

Andy Clayton.
