There is a video made by Haigh and GFH (or whoever owns us) on the OS - on right hand side under LUTV showing the strides they have made in the last 12 months OFF the pitch
Yes it is a bit self congratulatory etc but it is worth a watch (4.40mins) and does show how they are trying to get kids / schools / the people and community of Leeds involved in Leeds United FC after the years of being neglected, ignored and vilified by Bates. I know it is propaganda and very much 'look at us', but it does show that they are trying to do the right things. It is often quoted that Leeds in the biggest one club city in the country and although this one club can work against us at times (no rivalry in Leeds compared to Manchester and Liverpool etc) it should mainly work in our favour and Leeds the city should be synonymous with Leeds United Football Club - the whole city should have a Leeds United Football Club vibe about it and it doesn't. At least GFH are trying to address this and bring back the missing generation so fair play to them and well done Dave _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] John 'Grampa' Sykes Rest In Peace old lad 28th Oct 1938 - 12 Nov 2013 MARCHING ON TOGETHER
