Well it would not surprise me if he has 3 games to save his job !
Might sound a bit dramatic but so is our turn around in results.
Our next 3 games are at home now - Leicester, Ipswich and Huddersfield - the
crowd for Leicester this Saturday is likely to be small (compared with recent
30k turn outs) - and whilst the early morning kick off and live on Sky will
affect it badly I think GFH will be getting itchy feet. They will be just as
concerned that Brian has 'lost the fans' as they are about the football cliche
'losing the dressing room'
If any of these games lead to anything like the abuse Brian and the team
received at Rochdale then the pressure really will be on him

Hopefully we will play well, put in  good exciting performances, and pick up
enough points to turn things around and Brian can get on with doing his job

For the record I am still 100% behind him and hope he has a long and
(therefore) fruitful career at Leeds United

Dave

Subject: [LU] I wonder what Brian has been up to all week?

I think we will see on Saturday if this Mr. McDermott really does have
anything about him as a manager. (I believe it is live on Al Jazeera again,
although I hardly dare watch!)

Hopefully, he will have done some serious work on the training ground. IMHO
he needed to address two issues: 1) our defensive configuration, both in MF
and at the back, and 2) the general lack of confidence running throughout
the side. (Oh, and 3......familiarising the new gentlemen with the group.)

After a couple of questionable lineups in recent games, he really needs to
get his selection right for this one. Amongst other things, he needs to
decide:
a) Whether to stick with 3-5-2. (FWIW I would say no.)
b) Whether to drop Zaliukas. He's been our best player for a couple of
months, but he had a total nightmare at Hillsbrough. Was that a one-off, or
has he got the yips?
c) What to do about a midfield that can neither create nor defend. I
wouldn't be surprised to see Brownie back in. And did I see that Green has
been injured all this time, but is now fit again? His return would be
positive.
d) Surely he's got to find a way to have Sam Byram starting.
e) Whatever line-up he selects, I just hope it does not include Pughie.
