Don't see what's particularly in the know about that. It's public knowledge that Sports Capital have reduced their bid - Flowers said as much yesterday. That reduction must have come about due to information gleaned since the initial documentation was signed.
We all know the Italians are now on the scene, and Haigh seems to be hanging around with them. If Sports Capital have injected funds and are going to miss out, they are obviously going to want those loans repaying from the proceeds of any sale conducted between GFH and the alternative new buyers (or sooner if it is clear they are out of the picture, as a way of seeking to exercise some leverage to get back in the process). Strikes me more as obvious extrapolation masquerading as in the know.
