Well, I hadn't seen it put together like that, and hadn't really thought
about the need for any injected money to be recouped, so thought it worth
passing on.

You're obviously much more switched on Dave. Not to mention condescending.

Don't see what's particularly in the know about that.

It's public knowledge that Sports Capital have reduced their bid - Flowers
said as much yesterday. That reduction must have come about due to
information gleaned since the initial documentation was signed.

We all know the Italians are now on the scene, and Haigh seems to be hanging
around with them.

If Sports Capital have injected funds and are going to miss out, they are
obviously going to want those loans repaying from the proceeds of any sale
conducted between GFH and the alternative new buyers (or sooner if it is
clear they are out of the picture, as a way of seeking to exercise some
leverage to get back in the process).

Strikes me more as obvious extrapolation masquerading as in the know.

The current mob are in financial difficulties and so when the new buyers did
their due diligence, they found skeletons and reduced their bid. GFH didn't
like that, so started to look around elsewhere - hence the arrival of these
dodgy Italians on the scene, with whom Haigh has hitched his horse. Since
the proposed buyers had already put money in, they naturally now want that
back - all of which explains why we've suddenly switched back into looking
like a selling club with no money!
