Promised largesse is allegedly why the Kransortium chose to sell to Bates
rather than the other potential purchaser, who was sat waiting to exchange
contracts in a solicitors office in Leeds whilst Bates effectively gazumped
him.
I reckon that if Cellino also offered individual sweeteners to the GFH
board it may have an effect on their decision making.
