My apologies if I was unclear, I didn't mean to insult you in a 'overseas listers know nowt' kind of way. As we all know there is more to supporting a football team than just results and the best players otherwise we'd all be supporting premiership winning clubs. There's an ethos to supporting a team and how BMc presents himself in interviews that may not be broadcast worldwide indicates to me that he gets what Leeds United is all about. How many of us claim all we want is for the players to give 100%? Well we've got a manager who despite all the sh*t thrown at him over the last few months hasn't walked away even though he would have been well within his rights to. A manager who is proud to be Leeds yet has been undermined at almost every opportunity by a weak and inconsistent board deserves our support. Yes the squad is sh*t but it isn't his squad. We have no idea how many Varney's there are in Colin's men and we probably never will, BMc isn't the sort of manager who tells tales. We know Kenny and Colin go back a long way, so it's not surprising, that, since Colin went, Kenny's form has dipped, how many others are in the same frame of mind? What do you suggest he does with them in a squad so threadbare? We have a squad full of Colin's mates. We had three left backs and no central defenders, half a dozen central midfielders and no wingers, why do you think that was? BMc's had to gamble with freebies, loanees and lower league prospects. He re-established links with the academy that Colin had destroyed. Yes we all wonder at the inclusion of Pugh in any squad but BMc didn't sign him, who else should he play? "Anyone but Pugh" isn't the answer if we haven't got anyone else. Again that's not BMc's fault, he came to a club that had just borrowed the wages from the previous owner and struggled to pay it back. Despite all this he was nominated for manager of the month in November. How short and how fickle memories you all have. Marching on together? Or only when it suits? Cheers Paul
