Give Brian the Blackpool game on Sat then if we win he has at least kept us up
in a difficult season. Then whatever the result get rid of him and bring in the
next manager , gives him chance to assess the squad and decide who to keep -
Ross and maybe Bryam, Mowatt, Smith at a pinch and possibly Murphy and Pearce.
Feel sorry for Brain and he has had a hard job but this run of defeats and the
manner of them cannot be turned round by him now.

The new manager, in addition to all the other problems has to rectify our other
ongoing problem, irrespective of manager and players and that is the way we
fall apart after Christmas - in the -15 season we were top at Christmas and
then failed to make the top 2, the year we did go up we were top by miles at
New Year and had just beaten scum but ended up scraping into second place. Last
season under Warnock we were well set in January and all felt with a good
transfer window we would be in the play offs at least, then ended up in a
relegation fight. Same this season, in January the play offs were a real
possibilty and now we are working out if we have enough to avoid relegation.
There must be something in the culture of the club that leads to this 'collapse'

Looking forward to Saturday in a way - surely we can beat a Blackpool team in
the same free fall as ourselves.

Not sure about the 3.07pm kick off - Hillsboro was awful but is it any worse
than Bradford fire (56 dead) which gets no recognition at all (and other
football disasters - Bolton 1946 (33 dead)

Matt, statistically we've got to win a game eventually, trust in rational
thought and science and go along!

Also, when we are European champions for the 5th Successive time, you can
say "I was there at the beginning"
