Oh dear another abject performance.
An average Watford side playing at half pace beat us easily. We were pretty clueless for most of the game. Managed about 2 shots and Hunt mis controlled it once when he would have been clean through. Apart from that we never looked like scoring. Most of the fan sympathy for McDermott appears to have evaporated. He seems to be just picking random combinations of players and formations and just hoping something works. Hunt upfront. Ross right. Poleon left today. It never looked like working. Poleon probably can't believe he lasted 90 minutes as at no point did he look like he knew what to do. Tonge and Mowatt occasionally passed it around nicely to little effect. Brown couldn't even be bothered to foul anyone most of the time, probably too knackered to catch them after 2 games in 3 days. Wooton made me nostalgic for Peltier at right back. At one point near the end White and Poleon appeared to be playing on the same wing and no one noticed.
