My sis in law has an apartment in Hisaronu near Olu Deniz. We are going again this year....not been since 2011. My dad in law passed away there in 2010.....the locals were fantastic to our family.... He was well known in the bars and cafes....we had a wake for him in 2011 in the bar he died in. I've had nothing but good times there....met many waiters/locals.....most follow Fenerbace and dislike Galatasaray but I have met some of their fans too and they show nothing but regret over 2000....they say that their club has it's true fans and it's bad apples like any other club.
We started going to Fethiye matches in 2010....they were in what would be our League 1. A crowd of about 4000......about 3 or 4 quid to get in. Didn't see any away fans but then the other team were from about 500 miles away. Lots of chanting between themselves...a few flares going off....beers in the sun...the game ended 4-3. I would say the standard was worse than our Conference. Not a bad day out. We bought a few home shirts.....tenner each.
