But that's just it. I wouldn't pay money to watch two teams play like Chelsea did unless I had "a pre-existing emotional attachment to them." There's no law forcing anyone to watch teams they don't support, and there's no law that says teams get points for aesthetics. It's not ice dancing, it's football.
On the very rare occasions I watch football on TV, I don't feel cheated if the teams aren't trying to entertain me. I feel cheated if they're not trying to win. Cheers!
