Brilliant day out yesterday watching Le Tour. My old man lives in Addingham so watched it there. Usually a sleepy village, it was transformed into a colourful street party who cheered everything that came though. I didn't think I'd be to too bothered about it but I was caught up in an amazing atmosphere and when the riders came through I was down on the road, clenched fist, cheering them on. Watching the pictures of Yorkshire later on the big screen in Addingham you had to feel proud of Yorkshire. The only place to live, no other county can compare.
