>From what was said on the radio - we played a sort of 4 1 4 1 with Austin in >front of back four and then Smith on his own up top. That seemed to become a 4 >3 3 with White and Morison playing either side of Smith. Lorimer was very critical of the fact that Morison is a genuine number 9 and has had success in his career as a goal scoring centre forward and that he looked disillusioned out wide - he reckoned that Morison should be knocking down the managers door and demand that he play down the middle where he can be effective He is another who the fans have taken against, by all accounts he was verbally abused and re-acted v Mansfield and then there were lots of jeers etc aimed at him when he was subbed yesterday. It is always hard if not nearly impossible to change fans opinions when they have taken against you but as a striker you do have the option of scoring a hatful and forcing fans to appreciate you , even if you will never be popular. Much harder for a defender or midfielder who can have a great game but will still be vilified for any error
I will be interested at Dundee game to see what the mood of the match going fans is - there is a lot of negativity on waccoe and some on here and other sites but it is hard to know if that is representative of the fans as a whole.
