Seeing and hearing all the love Cook is getting after the match, I found it a
bit interesting comparing his stats with the other midfielders that completet
the match - especially Bianchi.

Cook had the lowest pass completed (73% vs Bianchi 88% and Mowatt 87%). He
also had the fewest passes in the game, 40 vs. Bianchi 68. Bianchi had 2
crosses, cook 0. Cook succeeded in 4 of his 9 longballs - Bianchi 5 of 7. Cook
did have 3 successfull dribbles - Bianchi 0, and we football fans surely love
the dribblers. Well - Cook was playing a more defensive role, so perhaps he
kicks Bianchis arse in that department. Well - NO. Bianchi had 4
interceptions to Cooks 2. Bianchi had 5 clearances (all considered
«effective»), Cook 0. BIanchi even blocked 2 shots - Cook 0. Both had 4
tackles in the game.

That said I don¨t doubt he had a great game. At least he must have looked very
good doing the few things he did ;)
