No No Becchio, yes to a brick outhouse in defence, yes to the destructive
midfielder, yes to 4-2-3-1.

Subject: Re: [LU] Becchio

Don't understand what he would add that we don't already have, other than
perhaps a striker who was always actually quite effective as a defender at
corners (an aspect of his play for which he was oft under-appreciated), and
given our vulernability at set pieces that itself would be good!

If, please God, we are moving away from the dreaded diamond and back to the
Grayson era of 4-2-3-1, then surely Antenucci can play the 1 and if not give
Morison a crack of the whip at it (Sharp may be a bit too midgety).
Seems mad to have all Morison's wages on the books and then also bring in
the wages of the bloke we swapped to get him in when they both basically do
the same thing. Morison has looked half decent whern he has got on the pitch
this season but he has never had a run.

Would much rather see us using the loan spaces available for a brick
sh1thouse of a centre back who can act as a leader and organiser and a
defensive midfielder who can destroy people and help bring along Cook. If
space still left over get in players who bring us width.
