Very surprised that Redfearn has confirmed that he wants Becchio. I was not a
hater, I never understood the adulation and cult status he was given,
especially those who put him ahead of Beckford, but for the most part I thought
he did an OK job for us,he scored a decent amount of goals and worked hard. so
I had nothing against him and did not want him to go. Having said that I do not
see how he can be anything like as good as he was (however good you think that
was) Everything is against it - he did not play for a season and then has had
an injury keeping him out added to the fact that on age alone he is on the
downhill slope. I cannot see how he can be anything like 'match fit' and we
need whoever comes in to be able to hit the ground running and make an
immediate impact. We are in trouble now, and need to get out of it now, and not
a few months down the lineDave From: Mark <[email protected]>

Agreed...any return of Beechio will severely test my ability to closely follow
the current Leeds United.
