Yes a big risk letting him go, and not great that he is going to one of our
direct relegation fighting rivals. He has had a mixed time at ER, last season
apart from McCormack he was pretty much our outstanding player albeit that is
not saying much. As Rich says he gives it his all but often that is not good
enough. We really need Bamba to do the business, Bellusci is out for 2 games
now and still has his racist trial to come with a possible 5 match minimum ban.
Del Fabrio and Killock etc seem quite a way from being first teamers. There is
of course still Wootton but he seems to be settling for being a right back
(first with Rotherham and now with us)
So again we seem to be getting rid of a decent player and keeping the likes of
Norris and Tonge etc who have no future at the club and are just a drain.
The reports from Leicester re Bamba are mixed, they all seem to love him but
some view him as being the big strong committed centre half we need, others
seem to see him more as a Bellusci type good skills but an accident waiting to
happen.
3 points tomorrow will be hard to come by but if we can do it , it will be a
real help in our relegation fight

Looks like Pearce will be on the move to Wigan. From my point of view he
was always a committed player but a bit short on footballing skills. Cooper
looks like a decent prospect with time, but Bellusci is always going to get
banned on a regular basis, so let's hope Sol Bamba can step in.
