Can't verify any of that Rob, but I do know that one of my favourite chants of 
all time came about at that time. If I remember it correctly, it was rumoured 
that Tony was unsettled, and it was mainly due to his wife wanting to move back 
to Sheffield.  So in response to this news, as TC warmed up or ran the 
touchline before being subbed on, some card in the stands (it wasn't little old 
me, stood in the boy's pen) came up with the cruel but funny chant of 'Tony, 
shoot your wife, Tony Tony shoot your wife'.  Everyone joined in of course. No 
political correctness in those days.
