I'm not gonna say too much different from anybody else. That has to be the most insipid performance from a Leeds United team I have ever witnessed.
2 half-mistakes early on both cost us goals, that will happen every now and again, even against as poor a team as Blackburn. What I found unacceptable was that even though there were still 85 mins to play, and Blackburn were short of confidence themselves Leeds barely mustered a half-chance. A goal even after 75 mins could easily have seen Bburn fold and concede 3. I'm only giving scores to get it out of my system. Silvetstri 5 - Not on best form at the moment but not his fault that the team aren't creating anything. Byram 4 - Hardly looking like a championship player at the moment. Provided nothing going forward. Bamba 6 - Not too bad apart from the mistake for the 1st goal. His barnstorming runs at least showed he cared. Cooper 4 - A bit at-sea, and should have done better on 2nd goal. Berardi 5 - Made the effort, but both goals came from his side. Playing out of position due to lack of Left Back cover Dallas 5 - Did some good things, but not often enough Adeyemi 4 - Has to protect the defence better than that to be worth his place. Murphy 4 - Offered nothing in terms of quality or quantity Cook 6 - Even when out of position looked Leeds best player. At least plays with a tempo, but does lose the ball too often. Antenucci 3 - has to do a lot more to be worth a place in front of a 3rd midfielder Wood 3 - Just not good enough. Subs Botaka 5 - Looks promising, but needs longer Mowatt 4 - Didn't improve anything, had one shot. Doukara 3 - No worse than Wood or Antenucci, just poor in a different way. When I looked at the squad at the start of the season, I couldn't see where the goals would come from, as at least 2 players need to find a scoring touch way beyond anything they have ever achieved before, and it is not happening.
