Bit pissed so no match report. I thought we looked solid for most of the game. I'm not sure about the tactics which for me were all about getting a draw at home but maybe at this stage this is where we are.
I think Evans has transformed us into a team. We weren't before. I think he's getting the best of average players - I thought both Wooton and Murphy both played they part tonight even with their massive limitations. I think he's doing well with Byram but still don't think he's a right winger despite his Mel Sterland quality cross for Wood. I'd play him just behind Wood in an advanced midfield role. I think Adeyemi was playing this role tonight but not to much affect. Someone mentioned the. Ref. I didn't have too many complaints - we were at them from the start it was obviously our main tactic to close them down, don't let them play. The result of that was some bad challenges all over the pitch. As soon as Bridcutt got his yellow he was 50 % less effective. I thought our keeper did well tonight. One final thing ... Bradley Johnson. Yes he's definitely improved from the player who couldn't get a game in League One for us but to say he's improved massively from his premier legue experience is a bit of a joke. He was pedestrian and looked the same player to me. Shite. At least he's shown he has part to play in the top leagues unlike his team mate Becchio who has hardly played a game or scored a goal or played a game since he left Leeds. Worst player I've ever seen and surely proved to be right after his post Leeds demise. Promotion is still on for me.
