Not much to add.
Another game that is typical of our season. Very little happened. QPR don't
look great but neither do we.
Evans was spouting his usual crap after the game about us dominating possession
etc but we don't create chances - you could count on the fingers of one finger
the decent chances created.
Our old friend smithies helped us out with the goal. It was a decent ball in
from Murphy but their keeper really should have claimed it - he didn't and wood
poked it in.
In to the last few minutes and you're thinking we might pinch 3 points here
without having played particularly well but Evans' / Cellino's team selection
comes back to bite us. It again demonstrates why bellusci should not be
playing. If he concentrated on his job he'd be a decent defender but he can't
help being the centre of attention. Whether it's trying Hollywood passes from
the back (most of which go out for throw ins) or lunging unnecessarily for the
ball he's a liability. He gives the ball away and puts us under pressure or
gives away free kicks and penalties. There was no need for him to make the
challenge - beradi was covering inside him but he has to be the big man. It's
been a long time (Mark Aizlewood maybe) since I've hated a Leeds player as much
as him. He's one of cellino's favourites though so it's hard to see him being
dropped.
I was disappointed with the bench Evans chose. Adeyemi was on there , who is
unlikely to be here next year, so why not Phillips or even Sloth? Sloth must be
on a fair bit of money so why not see if he's got something to offer next
season?
I can't see Evans being in charge for much longer but who would work for the
mad man?
Attendance of 17000 (and that looked generous) tells you what the fans think
about the "football" on offer.
Not sure I'll be renewing next season.
